Canadian Budget Binder
Canadian Couple On A Financial Journey Using A Budget
by Mr.CBB

Financial Freedom - My idea of financial freedom is becoming debt free and happy with what we have will contributing to our future. We are still young so it's imperative to us to remain debt free so we can save to do everything that we desire in life.

Savings tip - Anyone who knows me or follows my blog at Canadian Budget Binder knows that my quote is "It's Not About How Much Money You Make It's How You Save It" Budgeting has and will always be a part of our lives. Using a budget is what helped us to become debt free and we simply don't know if we would be in the position we are today without it. Making money is hard, spending money is easy but saving money is the toughest part of personal finance.

Passive income - If you are able to generate passive income I say, go for it. If you are passionate about a hobby or starting a small side business that earns you cash then by all means take advantage of this cash flow and show me the money. As long as passive income and your hobbies don't take over your life than I'm all for it.

Fast way to prosperity? - Nothing is easy in life that's for sure. Finance is a mindset and until we change the way we think about earning money and spending it and what we 'feel' we are entitled to then we may find the road is very long. We have to believe in ourselves that we can make a difference and that we can change our lives for the good.

Where to start - Starting down the road to financial freedom starts with a solid commitment to yourself that it's what you want. If you believe it will come easy you are sadly mistaken. Commit to the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to money and budgeting and don't let the bad months get you down. When we give up believing in our ability to educate ourselves, network and experience new things we give up on ourselves. If you want freedom then go get it!
